September 7: Invitations are mailed (except for a very few that will go out next week), engagement photos are up, and a wedding is coming together!
Janelle, David and I went to the wedding loacation yesterday to figure out lighting, timing, and did a dry run of how the ceremony will go.
September 4: September already?!? Jeez Louise, where does the time go?
RSVPs are now online! However, if you search your name and don't find it, either try your spouse's name or just search the last.
For example, John and Mary Doe are both invited, but Mary can't find her name in the search. Since John's name is before hers on the wedding invitation, only his name will work in the search. So, she can search John Doe and find her reservation within his, or just search Doe and find her name under John Doe, her husband.
I hope that's not too confusing. If you really can't get the hang of it, feel free to just mail it in the old fashioned way!
August 19, 2008: 67 days left, and I am finally getting somewhere with the addresses! Hopefully we'll have the invitations out in no time flat. However, the website itself is giving me some grief when I try to add the address in for the online RSVP. Grrr...
We've got our cake picked out, and last night I was checking for some inexpensive hotels in Orlando for our wedding night. I found a nice one that is close to Disney, which is where we'll be the day after the wedding.
Becky's 23rd birthday is on Friday, and her hair is getting very long since she's growing it out for the wedding. She can't wait to cut it!
August 9, 2008: David and I went over to my sister's today and decided on a final look for the invitations! It was pretty simple to decide really, and having Janelle being so kind to print them really cuts down on costs and hassle. They're going to look beautiful!
We also took some impromptu engagement pictures today, and once Janelle (also my wedding photographer!) sends them to me, I'll post them right up! After that, we went to Golden Corall and stuffed ourselves silly. It was a very fun day!
I've come to realize just how easy it is to rack up a huge wedding registry. David and I have been to Target quite a bit, and it's so easy to just point and click that scanner gun!
July 17, 2008: There are 100 days left to go until our wedding and there is still so much left to do! Although I have managed to take care of all the centerpieces myself, and David and I are fairly certain of the meal choice, and our guest list is all but done. Now I just have to get those invitations ready and out, as well as about a million other things! There has been an update to the registry page, so check it out!
